GEORADAR
Georadar is an electronic device able to investigate soils
and to detect the position of buried materials with considerable details, exploiting the reflection
of electromagnetics waves by the GPR system.
The GPR analysis illustrates trends of electromagnetic discontinuities in the subsurface setting allowing to their detection ad interpretation as metal materials, concrete foundations, pipes, cable, cavities, but also leakage of fluids (spills) from buried and strategic assets.
M.S.M. MAGNETIC STRESS MEASUREMENT
A non-destructive diagnostic method that allow to capture micro-imperfections
and heterogeneity ("STRESS") along metal structures by analysing the magnetic field emitted naturally by the metal body (e.g. a buried pipeline or an oil tanks).
Mechanical and structural inhomogeneities in the metal body disturb the natural magnetization emitted by the metal and, therefore, its magnetic field will result disturbed.
